“Mr. Cem, can we get to know you first? What kind of education did you receive, when did you start your business life?
I was born in 1972 in Erzurum. I was born as the third child of an Engineer Father and a housewife Mother. I completed my secondary and high school education in Erzurum. After graduating from the Air Force Academy, I settled in Istanbul. I have been married for 21 years and have 2 daughters. I have a personality that likes to travel and ride motorcycles and dislikes the collectible words "No" and "Impossible". I graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration and International Los Angeles International University Business Administration in English. I have IRCA approved, ISO 9001 lead auditor certificate. In 1994, I started my business life as a trainee manager at Kozyatağı Carrefour, the first shopping mall of the Carrefour Group in Turkey. While I was a member of the board of directors in Adana, İzmir and Paris locations of the group that merged with Sabancı Holding, I left after 8 years. Later, I was the operations director of an international company, one of the leaders of the service industry, for 11 years.
“Can we learn about the establishment process of Globus Turkey? What motto did you set out with?”
For 26 years in the service sector, I worked as a professional top manager on the receiving and serving side. I had the opportunity to personally see the processes that cause dissatisfaction and bring satisfaction on both sides. Based on this, I realized that a competent third eye is needed on both sides of the shopping process to ensure that the service is legal and healthy, and in 2011 I established the Globus Audit brand with the slogan "Right data, Right decision". Immediately afterwards, I received very serious demands both in the public and private sectors, especially in the largest capitals of our country. What makes this structuring different from other audit companies is to evaluate the performance of the contracts together with the audit, to eliminate the vulnerabilities that arise with “Gap Analysis” and to update our client in international standards against its competitors in its own sector. We presented a common cargo station solution that helps to increase the security of living spaces, makes cargo delivery self-service, can be monitored with a 24/7 camera system. We have ensured that the packages brought by the cargo companies are kept in the smart cargo lockers we provide before they reach our residents/customers. We installed thermal systems at the project entrances. In this way, we managed the crisis well, even with multiple entries. We prioritized the health of both themselves and their families by having our employees take a Covid-19 test.
"How did you train your staff in the face of the epidemic?"
Our company has been serving in the health sector for 15 years, which cannot be ignored. Due to the experience we have gained during this period and our respect for the sector we have served; Like our customers, we take precautions by keeping every data up to date. With the news of the Covid-19 outbreak, our business development team; He started collecting all the data about the disease and researching the measures that could be taken. We have determined how we will take action at the point of the virus coming to Turkey. We provided disposable masks, gloves, visors, hand sanitizer and two extra sets of work clothes to all our personnel. We provided training to all our personnel working in the field together with our operation and training units. We also carry out continuous, planned and cross-checking activities in order to determine how accurately our personnel have applied the training they have received in the field. We subject all on-site personnel to instant inspection through our field operation team and the audit company from which we purchase services.
"Can we learn about your goals for 2021?"
By showing great courage at the end of 2020, we opened our Global Unique Solution Ltd company, which will serve in the Electronic Security Systems Sector in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. (TUID) We took our first step to become the 50th member of the Turkey-Ukraine Businessmen's Association. We will follow a policy of spreading to Poland, Estonia, Moldova and the Balkan countries through the city of Lviv. We have sold our first project to be completed in the first quarter of 2021. Our goal in 2021 is to print our brand, which was opened from Turkey to Europe, among the well-known and reliable brands. We are planning to activate our 3rd eye mobile laboratories for the automotive and health sector, which we had to postpone due to the pandemic.
